Unlike influencer models where creators get paid to promote specific brands, Past Brides earn when you book ANY vendor through the app—IF you found their advice helpful. They earn based on advice quality, not based on which vendor you choose. This means you get honest recommendations, not sales pitches.
Past Brides can literally say 'Don't use my florist' and still get paid.
The app is completely free, and you'll actually save money on every booking.
Here's how: wedding vendors waste money on pay-to-play directories with fake
leads. On Ivorie, vendors only pay when you book—so they can use those savings
to give you exclusive discounts and reward the Past Brides who helped you.
Everyone wins.
When I was planning my wedding in Bermuda, I faced a frustrating reality: I couldn't trust wedding planners' vendor recommendations (they take kickbacks), and I wasn't about to rely on anonymous reviews for the biggest decisions of my life.
What saved me? A friend-of-a-friend who had just gotten married at my venue. She became my trusted advisor throughout the entire process, giving me confidence in these big decisions.
After my own wedding, I found myself fielding call after call from future brides—some planning DIY weddings, others working with top planners—all wanting to hear my firsthand experience. It didn't matter how much professional help they had; they still craved advice from someone who had just been there, done that.
That's when I dug into the vendor side of the industry and discovered something broken: vendors spend thousands monthly on directory listings with fake leads, pay massive referral fees to planners and venues, yet their highest-converting marketing is word-of-mouth from past clients.
I realized: what if past brides could give unbiased recommendations AND get rewarded for it? What if vendors could automate their word-of-mouth referrals and actually save money on marketing? What if future brides could finally get honest advice AND exclusive discounts?
So I built Ivorie—a peer-to-peer marketplace where all incentives align to create a more accessible, merit-based, and honest wedding industry.
